An Exclusive Look Inside My Makeup Case

Introduction

I have a fairly large makeup case; you might consider it more of a makeup suitcase. It has a top compartment, where I keep my large makeup palettes, and eight drawers that I organize into the following sections: 

How I Organize My Makeup

  1. Prep/Prime:

    • These products are essential for creating a smooth canvas before applying makeup. They include primers, moisturizers, and skincare items that help prepare your skin.

  2. Foundation/Concealer:

    • Foundation provides coverage and evens out your skin tone, while concealer is used to hide imperfections like dark circles or blemishes.

  3. Setting Powders/Sprays:

    • Setting powders help lock in your makeup, control shine, and prevent it from creasing. Setting sprays provide a finishing touch and help your makeup last longer.

  4. Bronze/Highlight:

    • Bronzers add warmth and dimension to your face, while highlighters give you a radiant glow by accentuating certain areas like cheekbones and brow bones.

  5. Blush/Highlight:

    • Blush adds a healthy flush to your cheeks, and highlighters enhance your features with a luminous sheen.

  6. Highlighters:

    • These products come in various forms (powder, liquid, or cream) and are used to emphasize specific areas of your face, such as the high points of your cheekbones.

  7. Small Eyeshadow Palettes:

    • Eyeshadow palettes are a makeup lover’s playground! They contain a variety of shades for creating different eye looks.

  8. Eye/Lip Makeup:

    • This section likely includes eyeliners, mascaras, eyeshadows, lipsticks, and lip glosses. These products complete your eye and lip makeup.
